Why We Do This

Lancaster Gave Us Our Start.
We Want to Give Back.

In 10 years of moving families across Lancaster County, we have seen a lot. We have moved seniors downsizing after decades in the same home. We have moved single parents starting over. We have moved families escaping difficult situations, finally getting into a safer place.

Moving is a big moment. It is expensive, stressful, and physical. For families already going through a hard time, the cost of a move can be the one thing standing between where they are and where they need to be.

We built Movers & Co. on this community. Our crews live here. Our customers are neighbors. Lancaster is not just our market, it is our home. The Move It Forward program is our way of saying thank you, and putting our trucks where our values are.

How It Works

Nominate

Submit a nomination for someone you know who needs help moving. Tell us their story.

We Review

Our team reviews all nominations by the 15th of each month and selects one recipient.

We Announce

The winner is announced on social media by the 20th. We contact both you and them directly.

We Move

Our crew shows up, does the move, and makes sure the family gets a great fresh start.

Program Guidelines

To keep this fair and sustainable, here is what the move includes.
Local moves only — Origin and destination within 20 miles, Lancaster County
3-hour hard cap — Clock starts at arrival. Items not moved in 3 hours stay behind.
Items must be packed — All boxes sealed and ready before crew arrives
Standard household items only — No pianos, gun safes, or items over 300 lbs
Weekday scheduling — Move scheduled Monday through Friday
One per household — One nomination win per household, ever
Permanent address required — No moves to storage units
Ground floor or elevator only — No walk-up buildings above 2nd floor
